Fundraising Update

The Fun Pasta Fundraiser orders are due in tomorrow.

Fan Cloth orders are available for pickup in the uniform room 1st thru 4th periods and after school.

The Silent Auction begins Thursday night at 6:30 PM. Concert starts at 7:00 PM

The January Fundraiser will be See’s Candy.

Student Cookie and Soda Donation Needed

Student donations of cookies and soda are still needed for the holiday concert this Thursday. Last names A-M should bring cookies and last names N-Z should bring sodas. Please bring your donations to the uniform room before school Thursday morning.  Cookies can also be brought in Thursday right after school.  If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Christensen at

Basketball Concession Help Needed

Basketball Concessions on Tuesday 12-22-15. Location is at O’Connor High School Gym. 6 volunteers are needed for two shifts. First three people will work first shift 10 am till 2 pm. Last three people will work second shift 2 pm till 6 pm. Please sign up in Charms. If you are unable to sign in Charms you may contact me at 210-381-1454.

Holiday Concert and Silent Auction

Good evening everyone,

This is a reminder of the Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 17 at O’Connor. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. We will also have the Silent Auction. Below is a list of items and details on that. Please plan to attend and hear our fantastic bands play some great holiday music and bid on that perfect gift in the auction.

Roland Sandoval Honored by UTSA

Dr. David Frego the chair of the UTSA Music Dept. announced Roland Sandoval, Director of Bands at Sandra Day O’Connor HS, the UTSA Music Dept. Alumnus of the Year. The UTSA music faculty votes on nominated candidates and the recipient is selected from alumni in all divisions within the music department (instrumental, choral, orchestral, graduate studies and elementary music). Mr. Sandoval was selected as the 2015-2016 UTSA Music Alumnus of the Year! He will have the opportunity to speak at the annual music dept. awards ceremony held on Thursday evening, April 28.
