Band Booster Board Election Nominees

Good afternoon Boosters,

The Candidate Committee formed at the March meeting in accordance with the By-Laws has met and the nominees for election to the 2016-2017 Board positions are as follows:

President – James Lee
1st VP – Charlie Perez
2nd VP – Sandy Lockwood
3rd VP – Brenda Ciavattone
4th VP – Anastasia Bernal
Secretary – Stephanie Brown
Co-Treasurers – Melissa Taylor and Lisa Mlcak

Per the By-Laws, nominations can be made from the floor on the night of the election. Nominees must be an eligible voting members of the Band Booster Organization and consent to having their name placed in nomination (Article VI, Section 4)

The election will be held at the next Monthly meeting, Tuesday, April 12 at 7:00 PM in the band hall.
Please make every effort to attend this important meeting to cast your vote for the new board members.

Moving Volunteers Needed for UIL This Week

The move crew needs help with pulling the medium size band trailer from O’Connor to Stevens High School to move the band equipment. If you have a pickup that will pull that trailer, please contact Brenda at thirdvp@thepantherband.com or Fernando at movecrew@thepantherband.com. Some support loading and unloading equipment is also needed.
If someone who can drive a small Penske Rental truck can please sign up that would be helpful. If a truck to pull the trailer cannot be arranged the rental truck will be the backup plan. Brenda or Fernando will share times with you. The performance schedule is below as well. Thank you for support of our band students.

Softball Concession Help Needed

3 volunteers are needed for Softball Concessions on Wednesday  4-6-16. Location will be at Softball Field NS 2 located on Culebra Rd and Loop 410. Club showtime is at 5:30 till 8:30.
Please sign up on Charms under volunteers needed. If you are unable to sign up in Charms. Please contact me at 210-381-1454.

Tuesday Game Day Dinner Assistance Needed

Good evening Panther Band Family.

The food crew is in need of assistance from 10 people to setup and serve the Game Day Dinner for the A4 Band when they return from UIL on Tuesday, April 5.

Help is needed to setup tables, hand out the meals and clean up. Setup will begin at 1:30 PM. Meals will be served starting at 2:00 PM and cleanup after that. If you are able to assist, please email Brenda at thirdvp@thepantherband.com or Jenny at food@thepantherband.com. If any of the Chaperones from the trip to UIL would like to help out when you return to O’Connor that would be much appreciated as well.

Fundraising Information

Tomorrow, Monday April 4th is the last chance to turn in the Fredericksburg Farms Fundraiser. Have your student put any orders in the Booster Drop Box next to the director’s office. Mrs Wilks will collect the orders at 4:30 PM.

The next Spirit Night is at Panda Express at Bandera Pointe on Wednesday, April 13th. Band will earn 20% of sales. A Flyer is required so pick up your flyer in the band hall or uniform room.
