Chaperones needed for Friday & Saturday

Chaperones are still needed for the football game Friday, Sept 23rd and for the competition in Fredericksburg on Saturday, Sept 24th.

To be a chaperone you must be a band booster member, have completed the NISD criminal background search (or be a Northside employee), have a booster polo shirt to wear, and have jeans and closed toes shoes to wear.

For the game on Friday, you would need to be at school by 5 pm and for the competition on Saturday, you would need to be at school by 2:30 pm.

Please email chaperones@thepantherband.com if you can help out.

Thanks.

Metal Detectors Now in Use at Comalander Stadium

Good afternoon Band family, and anyone going to the game tomorrow.

Mr. Sandoval relayed this information from principal Horras.

NEISD is now using metal detectors at Comalander Stadium. If you are going to the game tomorrow, arrive early (the gates open at 6pm) as all spectators will have to go through the detectors.

Also, backpacks and pocket knives for spectators will not be allowed in the stadium.

Chaperones and other volunteers need to wear O’Connor shirts with your volunteer badges. Parent volunteers will only be allowed in the field during official duty times, and then must return to the stands.

Please remember, this is not our stadium and we must abide by their rules.
